Circulation system made entirely of composite
Our circulation systems manufactured in Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer [ GFRP ] include fabrication of the frame, gratings, handrails, access stairs and cage ladders.
Walkways or platforms leave our plant pre-assembled, ready to install easily and simply.
These systems save weight, as they can be up to 3 times lighter than the same structure in steel, while remaining mechanically very strong.
They are especially suited to corrosive environments such as those found in chemical, petrochemical, mining and wastewater treatment plants, as well as companies on the seashore, among others.
How do they behave in fire?
As standard, all the structural profiles we manufacture include fillers to meet ASTM-D635 classification HB and IRAM 11910-3 classification RE2 [ very low flame-spread material ].
When self-extinguishing behaviour is required, special resins can be used so that they are self-extinguishing.
It is important to note that the composite does not melt, soften or bend, because it is not a thermoplastic: it is a thermoset.
