Bleaching, caustic soda, acids and hot water finish alloys and painted steel. CME manufactures GFRP structures, walkways, gratings and handrails for pulp and paper: the composite takes the medium and does not ask for metal maintenance.
It also takes pulp and wash-down abrasion. It is assembled light, between shutdowns, around tanks and water lines.

Why GFRP in pulp and paper
Chlorine, chlorate and caustics shorten metal life. GFRP is close to permanent in that medium.
Lower assembly and maintenance cost than alloys. It can be cut on site if needed.
CME chooses the resin and sizes the structure for pedestrian or maintenance load in each area.
