Cross corrosive areas without a bridge that rusts
In chemical, mining, water, tannery and effluent plants, steel is gone in a few years: vapours, spills, salts and humidity. CME designs, manufactures and assembles GFRP bridges and walkways so people and equipment can cross process pools, channels and spans without paint or corrosion replacement.
The composite does not rust, is dielectric and weighs a fraction of steel. Prefabricated spans can be taken into the plant and assembled with less equipment, even where a large crane cannot enter.
Built for industry, not only for parks
The main use is high industrial corrosion: crossing polyelectrolyte pools, acids, effluents, leaching circuits or wet tannery areas. It also solves access on the coast, in lithium mining and in water plants.
Where the environment is milder — pedestrian access, maintenance walkways or links between sheds — the same system applies: lightweight, fast to assemble and with no paint maintenance.
Why GFRP instead of steel
It does not corrode or rot. It does not leach chemicals. It takes decades of pedestrian and maintenance traffic without losing section.
High strength, low weight. Tensile capacity comparable to structural steel, at a fraction of the mass: it is moved and assembled without damaging the plant surroundings.
CME sizes the span, the loads (people, piping, light equipment) and the anchors to concrete, steel or GFRP. We deliver engineering, fabrication and assembly supervision.
Corrosion
Inert to acids, alkalis, salts and effluents. No yearly painting.
