Tanneries
GFRP bridges, walkways and gratings for tanneries: salts, humidity and effluent, without steel that is painted.
Contact usTanneries: humidity, salts and effluent without steel that is painted
The beamhouse, the tanning floor and the effluent pits eat metal: salts, organic acids and permanent humidity. CME manufactures GFRP walkways, bridges, gratings and handrails so people can cross and operate without corrosion replacement.
CME already has tannery works: platforms and bridges over process, light enough to assemble in occupied sheds.
Where it is used
Bridges and walkways over pits, channels and process spans.
Gratings and handrails in wash-down, salt and effluent areas.
Covers and access where the floor is always wet and steel does not last.
Why GFRP in a tannery
It does not rust with salts or effluent. It does not swell the concrete or stain the process.
Light spans: they go into the shed and are assembled without stopping the whole plant.
Isophthalic or vinylester resin according to the area. CME sizes the span and the anchors.
Salts
Salt floor and beamhouse without the steel paint cycle.
Humidity
A permanently wet floor. GFRP does not rot or corrode.
Effluent
Walkways over treatment pits and channels.
Assembly
Prefabricated, for sheds that cannot be emptied.
