Unmatched in corrosive environments
[Acidic, alkaline, saline]
They do not conduct electricity, providing greater safety in the work area.
Superior in corrosive environments
Escaglass® cable trays are manufactured by pultrusion in Glass Fiber Reinforced Composite [ better known as GFRP ].
They have excellent mechanical strength and their long-life attributes, compared with other traditional materials, make them extremely resistant in corrosive environments [ maintenance-free ], outdoors and to UV rays.
They are available in a range of resins [ isophthalic polyester, vinylester or special resins ], and we will advise you on the choice, which depends on the environmental conditions where they will be installed.
Have you thought about switching to GFRP?
Cable trays do not conduct electricity, need no maintenance, replacement or paint schemes [ the pigment is throughout the profile mass ], and they are light, which makes installation easier [ 7 - 16 kilos per 3 m ].
Fiberglass cable trays have been designed according to the standards published by NEMA under the name STANDARDS FOR CABLE TRAY SYSTEMS - FG-1, UL standards for non-metallic trays and the corresponding NEC articles, to meet national and international market needs.
