Posts for electric fencing
CME manufactures GFRP posts for permanent or temporary electric fences: livestock, farming and paddock splits. They do not rust, do not rot and do not leak energy: the post is the insulator, not the wire.
Very light, easy to carry and to drive. Long service life, with no paint and no corrosion replacement.
Where they are used
Electric fences for cattle, sheep and horses.
Rotational grazing and lines that go up and come down in a day.
Also as a permanent line: GFRP takes sun, rain and farm humidity without rotting.
Why fiberglass
Steel rusts and each post has to be insulated. Wood rots and splits. A GFRP rod is insulating from the start and does not lose section.
A bundle fits in the pickup and is set by hand. Orange as standard, or other colours on request — visible in the paddock.
CME pultrudes them, the same process as snow stakes and profiles. Length and diameter according to the fence.
Insulating
Does not conduct. The energy stays on the wire, not the post.
Weight
Light: carried and driven with no equipment.
Service life
No rust, no rot. No paint maintenance.
